Dear Lucille, Doc, the mayor... colonel... the most amazing dog breeder ever,
We couldn’t be happier with our beautiful babies. Thank you for the gift you’ve given us. My daughter & I picked up our puppies from Buzz & Titmouse in May 2020. Sunny lives in Nashville with my daughter Sydney, & Cherry lives in Michigan with me. Both are in training for bigger things (with us of course). I have been taking Cherry to school with me in Detroit - she brings the students so much joy. I recently recently recommended you to my friend Roxann - they will be picking up a male puppy who is also Buzz’s offspring on 11/24/20 for their college bound daughter. Will be fun because Roxann & I will have 1/2 sibling dogs & I've known Roxann for 40 years! Anyway - thank you for our babies - just what we all needed during COVID. Puppies are 8 months old now.
Stay safe & have a blessed holiday.
My Golden had passed I started looking into Goldendoodles and was astonished at the lax use of the word and the non-existant information sellers were putting out there. Then, I happened upon the Colonels' website via this site. Knowing that poodles could have umpteen problems as they grew I was relieved to see the attention to testing that was done with these. These people have been training and raising animals for years and years and they know their business. I took Bubba home with me and it has been 2 days. He is comming to me, is doing VERY well with potty training and nuzzles with my cat. His temperment allows me to take him EVERYWHERE with me even at 3 months old. I have never had a dog so well mannered in public at this age and have had dogs continually since I was 9 years old. I am very happy and wouldn't think twice about going back. These people have animals all over the world. Thank you Colonel and Chief!
Doing GREAT! Almost completely housebroken. Woke me at 3:30 this a.m. to let him out. Comes to me when called. A delight when we are out. And we are out all the time. I am not worried about our trip back to Florida at all. He is a wonderful companion and I can't thank you enough. Debra D.
You guys were NOT lying about the temperament of your puppies! Murphy will be one year old this month (April 2019) and we could not have asked for a better, healthier pup. She hit the 52lb mark last month, and our vet said we hat a pleasant, healthy dog on our hands and we couldn't agree more. She gets praise everywhere we take her because she's just a good dog and has been since the day we picked her up from you guys. She never nipped at us, never chewed our things. She was so calm when we got her we thought something was wrong with her. Very very very chill dog. I can't brag on you guys enough. Thank you for the perfect companion and addition to our household! ♥️🐕
I just wanted to update you on Halle. She has been a perfect fit for our family! She's smart and always willing to learn new things. She's wonderful with the kids and ended up only being 50 lbs. It's hard to believe she's only been with us going on 3 years. We love her dearly! I hope you are all doing well.
P.S. We are not competitive but have played around with several sports just to stay busy (agility, nose work, barn hunt, dock diving). She's loved them all.
Just wanted to send you an update on this sweet puppy! .... The boys named him Jet Storm, they adore him! They play football every day in the back yard together, it’s his favorite game to keep the ball away from them. Thank you so much for sending us
Today is Bonnie and Izzy’s 7 month birthday. It is hard to believe that we have had them 4 months. Puppies are a lot of fun and a lot of work! I don’t know how you two do it, but I appreciate you very much. I hope you are both doing well.
I kept thinking if I got a good picture of Bonnie (meaning one where you could see that she has eyes) I would send it to you. These were taken after her first grooming, and she does have eyes. Her groomer was very complimentary about how good she was while being groomed. I told her that you really do work with your puppies. And every time I take something out of her mouth, I appreciate you. I think you are great breeders and am thrilled that I found you on the Puppy Find website........
Colonel, I think Bonnie is a good name for her. It seems to fit her bubbly personality, and yes, she does live in the Bluebonnet state. When I tell people that story, they agree that her name had to stay Bonnie!
He is so wonderful!! We love him so much already. He went to the vet yesterday and is one healthy boy! He’s already doing super with potty training! We just can’t thank you enough. His coat is beautiful and soft. He loves being outside! We’ve decided to call him Teddy for Teddy Roosevelt.
Just wanted to give you an update on Paisley Mae! She’s adjusted so well and is such a good puppy! She already knows how to sit, lay, and we’re very close to learning shake. Her favorite toy is her hedgehog and her big sister’s tail. We just want to thank you again for giving us the best Christmas present! We all love her, she’s just a little spoiled..😊
Hi there! I’m emailing to see if you have any more puppies available. Our Chaco will be 2 years old soon and we would love to get another one to keep him company. We love his color and temperament, so we would be very interested in another one just like him, from the same parents, preferably another F1B male. Thanks so much! We’ve included a picture of our sweet boy. He’s getting so big! He is very loved!
Our perfect boy (Manning) is doing great! The kids are so excited and were so surprised. They fight over who gets to hold him and take him out. Potty training is going great! His first night we crated him at 10pm and he didn’t peep until 7:05! He seems to be adjusting well and we are LOVING every second with him. Thanks for all your help, and I’m sure you’ll hear from us more soon. Thank you again!
Here are some unedited pictures. Bailey (f) ungroomed, Rusty (m) groomed. Rusty has gone through Basic puppy classes, skipped advanced puppy classes and passed intermediate dog training classes. He must now wait till 1 year of age to begin High School and Good Canine Citizen Training. Will be neutered in couple of weeks.
Just part of the family now.
Hi, Yuri is doing wonderful! He is spoiled rotten and has the best personality! We are contemplating getting another one because he loves to play with other dogs so much. If you ever happen to get a dog returned we might be interested in adopting. I visit your website from time to time to see what’s going on 😀. We can’t thank you guys enough for Yuri and all the joy he has brought us!
Hello, Thanks for asking after Piper. At 8 1/2 months, she is marvelous. We have been to obedience school and she does so well. I take her all over the place with me. She loves to hike and fetch, but is very laid back at home. She currently weighs about 31 lbs, so we are expecting her to come in right around 40 - just where you said she would. These pictures were all taken today. Two are before and after grooming and one is while playing in the yard. I will send you one more shortly, which is one of my favorites. I hope that you had a lovely Christmas. Our best to you during the New Year. Shawn
We made it home just fine, awful rain the whole way. He was really hungry by 6:00pm. I gave it to him dry and he ate with gusto. Drank a lot of water too. Went out twice before bedtime, he peed once. He had a little trouble settling down after I close the door on the crate. pulled the crate next to the bed and told him to HUSH a few times and he went to sleep. that was around 10:30pm, and he slept until almost 8:00 this morning. didn't whimper once during the night, and no accidents in the crate. Every time we've gone out this morning he has produced something...mucho praise!!! he's just wandering around now checking out every nook & cranny. he has fallen asleep for about an hour twice this morning.
Guess who likes carrots, bananas, and apples...Chewy!!
Holy Cow!!! What an ankle biter!!! I had forgotten how a puppy tries to bite just about anything, especially me!!
By the third night, he didn't howl or whimper about going into the crate for the night, and he has slept all through the night, from 11:00pm to 8:00 or 9:00 am. Every time we go OUT and I repeat "Go Potty" he has produced something. Probably just me being trained as to when to take him out.
He is showing lots of personality
