Ellie went to the lake with us for the first time on Friday. She loved running around the park (and especially trying to eat the goose poop) but wasn't a big fan of swimming (yet). However, she LOVED hanging out on the paddleboard with Emma. Sometimes she sat up, sometimes she laid down but she never, ever budged. Emma hasn't tried standing when Ellie's on the board yet, so we'll see how that goes. Now that we know Ellie will stay put, I'm sure that will be next. They were awfully cute together and we overheard a lot of comments about what a pretty and great pup she is!

O’cho is the most friendliest pup, he’s growing so well, has a great appetite, easily trained, and a great addition to our family. He loves to play in the yard and gets along so well with our next door neighbor’s cats. We’re so lucky to have him! Thankyou!
Ellie is settling in well. She's doing awesome with crate and potty training and is getting along well with the other dogs. She's such a little love and Emma is in heaven with her! Vet said she looks and sounds great. She's eating and drinking just fine and is very playful.
In terms of training, she's doing well learning her name and with basic recall and she is a champ about getting her harness on and off. Emma has started getting her used to the leash and we have also started clicker training. Ellie has been voluntarily offering a sit and eye contact during training sessions so we've been rewarding that, too. She's definitely a smart little one!! I'm attaching a couple of photos for now and I will send plenty of updates as she grows. We're so happy to have her as part of our family! ~Dawna 1Hope you are well.
We wanted to send a couple of pictures of Tom Petty. He is beautiful and a very good pup- friendly and as sweet as can be. He's still learning, and we are still learning to watch leaving things around for him to tear up, but he's improving, and he is a golden after all. He has tons of energy as you would expect, and we try to walk, run or hike with him every day. He heels well and minds pretty well in general. Just wanted you to know he's doing well and looking good! When would you generally switch them off of pup food, by the way? Love to get your thoughts. Happy New Year! PJ Hey Guys!
I just wanted to send you an update on Jade. She is the daughter of Toehee and Ringo (Born May 15, 2021). I had such a hard time choosing which puppy was going to be the best fit when I came to pick one out. As you put it, she really did choose me. Jade has been very easy ever since she came home. She was potty trained and slept through the night in her crate night one (score!) Growing up I always wanted a dog who enjoyed swimming in the lake with me, turns out Jade loves the water more than any other dog I have ever seen! We played in the hose everyday this summer when a lake wasn’t available. She makes everyone around her smile. Jade went away for 10 days of training for behavior in the Spring and is currently training to become a therapy dog to help others in crisis. She is such a joy to have as a part of my life! Thank you so much for all of your help and for giving me the best family member I could ask for! All our best, Allie and Jadey Hello! This is Sarah ...., I got a female pup in summer of 2021 and thought i’d send y’all some pics! This is Chloe May and she is my everything! I’m so thankful for her She knows sit, stay, paw, law down and gives high fives. She is very smart! Thank you for our Chloe, Sarah
Hey Doc,
Sunny (pup from Titmouse and Buzz) is doing great. Him and his Sister cherry look and act so different. We get them together every few months! Cherry has visited Tn 4 times since she left for Detroit and Sunny is such a good boy! He is in his second course to become a service dog and work in Hospitals with Patients. if he passes his Good Canine and gets his official paperwork at 18 months I’ll be sure to send you an update and photos for his profile!!!! Brandon (who you met) still talks about how much he loved the Doberman you had at the farm when we came to pick up the kids! In a year we will be reaching out to ask you about how to get one. I’m pretty sure my mom and I have three friends who have puppies from you now (one is on the next litter for Cappy and Buzz (or maybe it was buzz and Buce)! We hope to send you all the referrals! We picked her up in November and she’s been such a good doggo ** Olive will be getting a littler sister soon.
Thank you so much for our Ruger, he is perfect and is fitting in with our family so well! I don’t think we could have got a more perfect present for our two year old!
Here is Arden at 1 year and 8 mos old- she is 58 pounds now!! Non shedding and the love of our life!
We sent her to Bootcamp for 6 days as she was full of joy and energy and now is off leash trained~ I cannot even tell you how intelligent and perceptive she is. her kindness, compassion and intellect far surpasses the shepherd and Aussies we have had throughout our lives. We absolutely love our little man, Remy! You raised a great pup, he’s a total joy and had a great first visit to the vet for his shots and exam. Thank you again!! We are totally obsessed with him. He has just the sweetest little disposition ever and honestly the training is going great as well.
Merry Christmas!! Just wanted to say thank you again for our sweet girl. We named her Margot! Here are some photos as promised.
Happy holidays, Lauren- She is amazing with the baby. My granddaughter is 5 months old and she goes over and lays beside her and lets her pull her gut and everything and she just lays there.
Hello!
We hope you all are doing well. Yesterday, we celebrated Forrest's 4th birthday! We adopted him from you all in April of 2017. He is absolutely the love of our lives and has made so many fellow goldendoodle friends! He is super active, healthy, and energetic, and we are so thankful to have him in our lives. Here are a few pictures of him and a video of him swimming!:) Thank you so much, The S.....Family Hello!
She is doing great! We named her "Tennessee" or "Cece" for short. Her temperament has been wonderful since Day 1 and she is very well behaved. She loves to run, is wonderful with other dogs/people/children, and loves to be pet and held. She is about 62 lbs currently and with the size of her paws, will most likely grow a bit more! I have attached some photos of her over the past few months! Thank you for checking in and for our wonderful pup :) Cody ** side note - part of successful proposal! may the three of you have a wonderful life together. Teddy's 51 pounds last time we weighed him ( not quite 6 months ). He's a happy boy and loves to play with the ball. We played fetch for 45 minutes straight yesterday. He enjoys the occasional visit to daycare for socializing and slow rides through the neighborhood. He's a fast runner and almost caught a squirrel today.
Hey Doc,
Sunday (pup from Titmouse and Buzz) is doing great. Him and his Sister cherry look and act so different. We get them together every few months! Cherry is a bit more Foxy in the face and weights 42lbs. She is precious. Sunny is tall and skinny and more Lab looking at 61 lbs. Right now I am dog sitting Albi (1.5 years old from Toehee and Buzz litter). Him and Sunny are playing in my backyard having the time of their lives. Thanks for checking in. (Photos of Sunny and Albi) Dear Lucille, Doc, the mayor... colonel... the most amazing dog breeder ever,
We couldn’t be happier with our beautiful babies. Thank you for the gift you’ve given us. My daughter & I picked up our puppies from Buzz & Titmouse in May 2020. Sunny lives in Nashville with my daughter Sydney, & Cherry lives in Michigan with me. Both are in training for bigger things (with us of course). I have been taking Cherry to school with me in Detroit - she brings the students so much joy. I recently recently recommended you to my friend Roxann - they will be picking up a male puppy who is also Buzz’s offspring on 11/24/20 for their college bound daughter. Will be fun because Roxann & I will have 1/2 sibling dogs & I've known Roxann for 40 years! Anyway - thank you for our babies - just what we all needed during COVID. Puppies are 8 months old now. Stay safe & have a blessed holiday. Elizabeth My Golden had passed I started looking into Goldendoodles and was astonished at the lax use of the word and the non-existant information sellers were putting out there. Then, I happened upon the Colonels' website via this site. Knowing that poodles could have umpteen problems as they grew I was relieved to see the attention to testing that was done with these. These people have been training and raising animals for years and years and they know their business. I took Bubba home with me and it has been 2 days. He is comming to me, is doing VERY well with potty training and nuzzles with my cat. His temperment allows me to take him EVERYWHERE with me even at 3 months old. I have never had a dog so well mannered in public at this age and have had dogs continually since I was 9 years old. I am very happy and wouldn't think twice about going back. These people have animals all over the world. Thank you Colonel and Chief! update.............. Doing GREAT! Almost completely housebroken. Woke me at 3:30 this a.m. to let him out. Comes to me when called. A delight when we are out. And we are out all the time. I am not worried about our trip back to Florida at all. He is a wonderful companion and I can't thank you enough. Debra D. You guys were NOT lying about the temperament of your puppies! Murphy will be one year old this month (April 2019) and we could not have asked for a better, healthier pup. She hit the 52lb mark last month, and our vet said we hat a pleasant, healthy dog on our hands and we couldn't agree more. She gets praise everywhere we take her because she's just a good dog and has been since the day we picked her up from you guys. She never nipped at us, never chewed our things. She was so calm when we got her we thought something was wrong with her. Very very very chill dog. I can't brag on you guys enough. Thank you for the perfect companion and addition to our household! ♥️🐕
I just wanted to update you on Halle. She has been a perfect fit for our family! She's smart and always willing to learn new things. She's wonderful with the kids and ended up only being 50 lbs. It's hard to believe she's only been with us going on 3 years. We love her dearly! I hope you are all doing well.
Blessings, Stephanie P.S. We are not competitive but have played around with several sports just to stay busy (agility, nose work, barn hunt, dock diving). She's loved them all. |
